What's Up Doc?

Kaleb went to the doctor this morning for his 9 month check-up. He weighed in at 18 lbs 5 oz and measures 29 1/4 inches long. Doctor said that Kaleb is one inch above average for height and 1 pound below average for weight and that both are well within the "normal" range for his age. He also said that Kaleb is coming along just fine developmentally. Then Kaleb got 2 shots again. His second Hepatitis B shot, and a second flu shot. Last time he got the flu shot he ran a fever during the night. Good thing I'm off tomorrow!

Sorry it's been SO long since I've posted. Been kinda busy. And SOMEBODY has decided that it's FUN to keep Mom (& Dad when he's home) up half the night, so lately when he naps, I nap.

Not a whole lot going on. Karl has started at his new store, and that's going well so far. I don't know about him but I sure like his new shift.

Had Kaleb with me the other day when I went into the bathroom for a second. He reached over to play with the light switch. He never did get it turned on.... but he kept looking up at the lights, like he knows that switch is supposed to make the lights come on. It's fun seeing him figure things out like that.

Anyway... I gotta go for now. I promised Kaleb we'd have a dance party. Here are some new pics.... ENJOY....

So I'm at work today.... and at work I have a pin on my smock that I can put a picture of Kaleb in. I get a lot of comments about the cute baby. Well TODAY.... I was waiting on one of our regular customers. A very nice older gentleman who has never been married and has no children. I was ringing him up at the register when he said to me... "Oh, is that your grandbaby?" LOL
I just smiled and said "No, that's my son".

*SIGH*

Kaleb likes standing up..... Now if we could just get him to want to sit up and crawl LOL

That Darn Cow

So far the only thing Kaleb seems to have gotten from me is a darn sneaky cow that follows him around and licks his head in this one spot. She's sneaky too, just when I've got his hair all brushed after his bath, she sneaks in and gives him a big ol' lick.
