It was kinda funny... during the party, while presents were being opened, the mail lady came and delivered a birthday card from Grandma Riegler! Boy, does Grandma have good timing or WHAT? The mail lady said, "OH, 'asleep in the stroller boy' is 1 today, huh?" I pass her quite often when I take Kaleb out for a walk, and he either looks sleepy or IS asleep. LOL

This one was taken after everyone had left, and Kaleb had taken a nap (what a difference a nap makes)
We had a wonderful day. I am so happy Kaleb was surrounded by friends and family for his first birthday (even if HE WASN'T so happy about it LOL).

There were SOME smiles while the partiers were there!!! I sure hope that you caught some of those moments!!! But, 1ST BIRTHDAYS are often traumatic, so it's ok!!!
