Well they say the third time is a charm. And so it was with our trip to the zoo. The first time we were going to go it got rained out. The second time we had it planned, Karl had pink eye, and Kaleb was running a 101+ temp. I took him to the doctor instead (double ear infection). So on June 25th we finally got to the Cincinnati Zoo! We had a very nice day for it. It was not TOO hot.
The elephants were enjoying some hay. 
This rhino was quite a character. He got in the water and was splashing his head around.
The Manatee was a BIG hit!

Okay...maybe it's just me but ummmm after the picture of the manatee I was thinking the next 2 shots had some resemblance.. good thing Kaleb was in the picture so I could tell which one was Karl....hehehe Love ya bro...
hey did anyone notice the pic of Uncle Dave in one of these pictures..yup that is him in the background (that's the real Uncle Dave in Gorilla form)..love you all
